Julio Serrano has created with Central America an epic full of drama and rawness, of a brutal poetic force that takes us into the desert and makes us breathe the dust and feel how the sun of injustice burns our hopes. A town born from stone, from the mythical explosion of volcanoes and that is always on the move. Border poetry, crossbreeding between almost cinematographic visual languages and the lyricism of the best Latinx American tradition.
