About the local poet:

Fernando A. Funes is a writer-performer who produces shows in Los Angeles including Duo It Again at The Lyric Hyperion on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7:30pm, hosted by his duo improv team, FernGully. He also produces The Duplex, Fernando Funes’ Long Form and Short Form Supreme, The Dazed & Confused Poetry Club, and Getting Your Act Together. He is on the Pack House Improv team Nuisance and the Pack House Sketch team, Popwich. He is a member of The Company of Angels. His short film, “The American Dream” has been featured in over 43 film festivals, including the Philadelphia Latino Film Festival. He writes a poem for every day of the year.
