About the Event
The Yellow Pad Series is a collection of consciousness narrative on faux yellow pad ground, which includes line art and mixed-mediums with graphite, ballpoint pen, and colored pencil on gessoed paper and wood panels.
Chicano Artist Jose Lozano is an Orange County native, having grown up in Fullerton, California. He prefers to work in a series and focuses on particular themes and topics such as Mexican wrestlers, paper dolls, Mexican movie imagery and clowns. Lozano has shown extensively in Southern California and across the nation, including The Cheech Collection, LACMA and the Mexican Museum in Chicago.
