Her work beautifully explores the complexities of classrooms, embracing hope, despair, resilience, and joy. Through poetic expressions, she delves into the vulnerability of children, the struggles faced by working-class and immigrant parents, the dedication of teachers, and the flaws within bureaucratic systems. Sáenz's poems evoke a wide range of emotions, from anger to amusement, providing an authentic glimpse into the realities of today's public school landscape. Embark on a journey beyond media narratives and political bias, and discover the frontline battles of children, families, and educators alongside her.”
