ebt poems #1-17 (print chapbook) By Jamie Berrout

This is the first part of a larger collection of poems I'm going to continue writing throughout the year. With everything that has happened in the past few weeks and the need to raise funds to order hrt refills this seemed like the right moment to release the work I had done so far.

From the back cover: These seventeen poems form a journal that stretches from January to late March 2020, from a precarious half life sustained by food stamps, mounting debt, and visions of insurrection to the moment where a global pandemic suddenly places a great many others in a similar state, all of struggling, all of us demanding a new way of life: an end to capitalism and the United States itself.
